Rare Historic Derby's Saloon Token

This rare historic Derby's saloon token was excavated at an old mine site near Twisp, Washington. There are 15 different trade tokens known from Twisp, 10 with "full inscription" (Twisp Wash. on the token). All are "rare" (1 or 2 known). This is the only specific known historic Derby's saloon token to be in existence today, (circa 1905). Front side of token reads "Good For 10 cents In Trade" Reverse side reads "DERBY'S Twisp Wash." Dimension: 2mm. Composition: Brass. This rare and historic trade token is in excellent condition.

Included with this historic Derby's saloon token is a rare original post card I obtained from a collector, with the famous Derby's saloon in the background. Sign being held reads: "Halloween Dance & Carnival Winthrop Oct. 27 by Winthrop Band. Also, front of large building in background reads: Twisp Department Store.
